GLOBAL WARMING

Good morning audiences

Your excellency  the judge and all audiences

            It would be nice to say thanks to God who gives us the chance to meet here. Before we enter the next session, I would like to introduce my self. My name is Janres Yoseva Purba. I’m 16 years old, and now I sit in the first grade in senior high school.

            My present  here is to tell us about Global Warming. I guess it’s familiar words for us as the people who love the knowledge. Global Warming is the increasing of the earth temperature continuously. As the prove, the earth temperature now has increased 0.74⁰C. Global Warming mainly caused by the emission gas that produced by green house, factories, and machine vehicles. Green house, this thing helps us to warm this earth because if there is no green house this earth will be so cold. But, this thing also give the negative impact that is produce the emission gas and if it keep happening the temperature will  increase and cause Global Warming, the factories and vehicles do same thing.

            Maybe from the information above we just blame those subjects. But do we realize that we just give the same effect when we doing our activities. Do we realize that the perfume, hair spray, air conditioner, and refrigerator that we use every day are some of the cause of Global Warming. one simple thing that we can find in our daily life is a bottle perfume. Unbelievable, just a bottle perfume can produce the chemical gas that is CO₂ and CFC that can make the ozone become more thin. And if this happen continuously we have to face the ultraviolet ray.

            Unconsciously, all of our activities that we’ve done is just make the progress of Global Warming become faster. And now, let’s see around we’ve found some of the impact of Global Warming such as the increasing of the water volume in the sea, the weather that extremely change, we’ve lost glacier, and some of animals become extinct. The biggest impact of Global Warming is the increasing of the temperature in both poles of the earth. We know that the high temperature can melt the ice, the same condition happen in  earth poles. If Global Warming keep happening, all the ice will be melted and the melted ice will mix with the water in the sea and then will refreeze. Based on this condition we are possible to back to the ice age. So, I think Global Warming is the biggest disaster that still waiting to be happened, because it can end this era.

            Based on all of this, there is a question across in my mind.” What can we do to avoid this disaster?”. With the development of technology and knowledge there are many ways to avoid the impact of this disaster. The big one is we have to minimalist the use of fossil fuel and change to nuke energy because nuke energy free the fewer CO₂ than fossil fuel do. We also can do by minimalist the use of green house and we can do the reforesting. Never cut the trees, we plant tree, the chance to see the green world is wide opened. The simplest way is we can treat the plants around us by watering them. Minimalist the use of unbiodegradable gas such as perfume and hair spray. Those actions can help this earth to be healed.

            So, what are we waiting for? Do we want to wait until the biggest impact happen or we realize what have we done and take an action to heal the earth? Everything will change, but the change start when we decide. Never ask anybody to do the action to safe the world before we do it by our self. It would be better if we start if from our heart, first we realize what we’ve done, and then we think what can I do to pay my fault with our mind, and the last we do the result of our thinking by an act in our hand. Let’s decide to safe this earth for the better life starts from our self. Safe our lovely earth!!
